can anyone read this

assuming its english.....put a mirror (any size is fine) opposite of the writing, look at the mirror and read it....rightside up of course...let us know.

Your picture is upside down and not very big or clear - can you provide a better scan? Looks like it may be Russian or possibly from another eastern European former Soviet satelite country. If you can locate a Russian speaker they will be able to tell you. If you can post a better pic I might be able to decypher some of it.

zavod means factory. Couldn't find a direct translation of the first word, but derivitives of the word mean soapy. I think this is old Russian and is spelled differently from modern Russian.
