Can anyone identify this medallion

Ardis

HI,

I bought a metal detector last week and on my first outing I found this. I have to say, I think this could be old...or not. It's about the size of a dime with some wierd symbols on it. I think they might be runes, but I'm not positive. Another thing. The tone it puts off on my detector says it's gold or nickel. I scratched on the side a bit and underneath all the grime is a copper or gold looking color. A magnet sticks to the chain but not the medallion. Any ideas?

Thinking maybe a Moghul coin but it looks like it was made with the chain in the hole so I'm thinking a coin off of an old belly dance coin belt.

That is an ancient charm that attracts evil spirit's. Don't touch it! You will be cursed! Send it to me
via Findmall and I will take care of it.

Can you show us a picture of the backside? Is there anything on the back?

The object has the same thing on the other side. It's the raised opposite if the indented side, like its hand made

Everytime someone brings up a belly dancer someone wants to see a picture of the back side.
