I came across this while rummaging around in an old junk pile. I have tried looking online for anything relating to this but have found nothing. I am assuming it was an award to someone but am not sure. The second pic is of the plate that is fastened to the side of the casing. Would love to hear some input from anyone regarding any information on this find. Thanks in advance.

Found this web site that list your item. Didn't see it on there site though. It is an auction site and it may have sold. Contact them and I'm sure they can tell you about it and maybe even buy it.
Looks like it may be pretty old.
