There is a DFX for sale on an auction site and the guy claims that he has detected a dime 18' with it. Under the absolute best conditions, with ANY available coil, is this at all possible? Or is this another fish story.

With that said the condition of the soil (mineralization) has to be right AND the operator has to really know the machine. Again with all that said 98% of the people detecting could not do it. Because of the soil and not knowing the suttle ( different tones) of the machine. Now I know I'm going to take some heat but that's OK.
