Camping on 9-11

Alissa and I brought the kids camping for our twelfth wedding anniversary, (Which so happened to be 9-11) and we had a blast! If any of you are looking to vacation at Myrtle Beach South Carolina, I highly recommend Lakeshore Camping Resort. http://www.lakewoodcampground.com/ministry.html It is a Christian campground and we were Blessed to have met some new Christian friends this weekend, and they only live about an hour north of us so we will be catching up with them some time soon. I also had a chance to bring my back-up White's Classic ID with me and I had about three hours of detecting time on the beach. I found no real earthly treasures with the detector, but the Lord Blessed my heart and soul with the best heavenly treasure all; watching my precious daughter's smile, laugh and play on the beach for the past four days, along with roasting smores by the camp fire at night. (My year old son also found out beach sand doesn't taste very good!) Alissa and I couldn't think of a better way to celebrate 12 awesome years of marriage than to tent together as a whole family. We will cherish the memories forever! God Bless!
