Camping and cladding

Larry (IL)

Well-known member
Nancy and I went for a three day camping trip over the holiday weekend with friends from the MXT forum, of course detectors in tow. Rob and I got out for three and a half hours Friday afternoon and watched it rain all day Saturday. Another four hours Sunday morning yielded handfuls of quarters from a nearby sports field, 308 of them to be exact, between the three of us.

Here is my take of the cladding adventure, 186 quarters, one of them a 64, one wheatie in there somewhere and two Kennedy halves. The ring is an aluminum class band, 2011. Nancy managed to get out for and hour or so Sunday and got her share too with the Bigfoot. You can go the the MXT forum for her story.

Sounds like a great week end Larry. I just posted over on the MXT forum after hearing about your finds from Nancy. I was wondering how many knee pads you wore out?:surprised:
