Want to be able to post finds online. Camera or Scanner, which is really better and which is easier to use? thanks

Scanners fine for coins and flat items, but not all our finds are flat.. It does do a decent job for coin closeups though.. personally I think a camera's easier or at leas less time consuming, and you cant take a scanner with you if you want pics from the field.. Scanners also seem to breakdown more than cameras

the scanner does a good job on things like bottles too. I use the camera much more but the scanner sure is easy to use for most of the stuff I find. Ain't worth a darn jin the field though

It's that long extension cord when scanning in the field.
