camera advice please

Hi everyone,
I am thinking of getting a waterproof digital camera for my christmas present , Having read of the horror stories some of my fellow hunters have had with ( " waterproof cameras :veryangry:" ) being ruined by failing seals etc , I wanted to know what make and models do you lads recommend and why ?????????
I have eventually got the photos from the Portuguese couple that gave me the E100 hand shake , as a reward for finding his wedding band in Mallorca ,
after some very bad Spanglish txt messages I must have got through to them ??? and they sent me an email with the photos attatched
I will have to get my daughter to show me how to put the photos on this forum now so you can share the moment ?????

This Is only my opinion Pentax Optio W90
i use one and you cant go wrong ! for my metal detecting in the water or in land is the best for me !

If you are not familiar with B&H, they are the world's largest camera store.

The Olympus cameras seem nice to me.
