This is what a field tester gets to play with and change before you get it. These were some of my notes:..
(1) Screeching, chirping, signal has to go as it would drive you nuts fast. Sounds like a Road Runner getting its throat cut.
(2) When scanning you get a combination of signals, chirp - beep - belltone.
(3) Belltone isn't listed on the display but is present during profiling and sounds off intermittenly with beep and chirp - or constantly if you whip the coil rapidly over the target - and when you do this the profiling ceases to display.
(4) Sizing function is erratic and far from accurate.
(5) A set 14-inch scanning area for sizing might be a little tight when you consider and take into account the diameter of the stock coil, and especially a large coil.
(6) Within the 14 inch profiling area you get varying signals from chirp to belltone and the sizing is not all that accurate.
(7) A cent results in a straight beep signal and gives the most consistent and accurate profile reading.
I've got a few more but can't find them right now.
