Mixed it up last night
Hit the main beach with the 1000 for a couple of hours
Picked up 2 tickets.. 14k Gold ring and Silver Half Dollar ring
The gold ring looks like a recent drop..
Lots of people still on the beach ..mid PM.. so I moved location
Used the excal 800 and vibra probe and looted some more old silver..
Here's The loot

Nice coin ring. Looks like it was made by a Catholic and/or a Brazilian.

Nice heavy metal. GI's with time on their hands made quite a few of those rings. I produced a couple myself back in the latter days of the Police Action. The tink-tink sounds of half a dozen guys all hammering on half dollars with a mess spoon in the same room can be kind of unnerving. :stars:

Congrats on the Gold Ring. It looks to be in nice shape. I like the Half Dollar Ring. The Ring was most likely pounded out with a Spoon or some other way and a Hole was drilled in the center and then the Coin was filed out after the appropriate size for the Ring was reached, thus having the scrap look in the center inside the Ring. No Solder would have been used so I think there may have been a Copper Necklace or some other thing attached to it to leave the Corrosion from Copper present. Finding 2 Half Dollars in one day is sometimes a hard one to pull off but you just have to be in the right area at the right time. That Shell is a bit neat also. First time I have seen a Crusty Shell come off of a Silver Coin with details showing like that. Nice bunch of finds Mate! Continued Success, Good Luck and HH.

Here is a couple of pics.
