Calling all Detectors in or close to Macon GA

Hello, I was wondering if I can group up and make a MD'ing club in or close to Macon GA.
Let me know and we can get together and try to grow this club!

There doesn't seem to be any groups locally to Macon. Maybe it's time someone started one?? I actually MD in my front yard today. In about 30 minutes, found two clad quarters, two pennies, and a Carbide Tungsten Men's wedding ring worth $450 according to the net. Was pretty excited about finding it, my first piece of jewelry!!

I would enjoy that, besides I need more exercise.
I don't work out side my home, so I could go most any time.

Long story, but although not but 57, I am retired (far sooner than I ever thought I would), so I have the time anytime too. Got any ideas of places to go? I am willing and able to go pretty much anytime also. I too need some exercise, hurt my leg almost a year ago, just now got to where I can walk semi normally. I need to get out. We aren't far apart.
