Hi All,
It's been awhile since I posted but thought I'd post this one. It's a nice 2 piece gilt button (no markings on back) with a horse shoe and whip (I think it's a whip).
Is this one military? Anyone recognize it?
Thanks in advance and happy hunting,

Definitely not military and I'm positive its not civil war period either . The backs either gone or probably rusty I imagine. Looks to be something some horse lover wore on a blazer around the turn of the century would be my guess.

On the back you can see the lip where the 2 pieces go together, has kind of a green tarnish, and there's an almost perfect hole where the clasp would have been.
Appreciate you taking the time to reply and advise.
Thanks!
