Call me a crazy CZ-70 lover but I bought a new CZ-70 today to put away...

for safe keeping since the number of remaining new machines(with the lifetime warranty) are dwindling fast. I've had 2 CZ-70's (I still have one and one died in a freak leaking refrigerator water filter incident in my basement:( -the carcass in still in a box in my basement. I've owned and used a Coin$trike(sold it to my buddy who did great with it as a former DFX user), DFX(sold it), CZ-3D(still have it), ExplorerII and X-Terra 50(still have them). After using all of these machines, I personally still prefer to use the CZ-70 when first hunting a site since I can cover it much quicker than with the other machines and I pretty much know what I'm digging with it when combining the tones, depth, icons with the bounces along with the easy recovery with the 8 inch concentric coil. I still prefer the icons versus the bouncing numbers since I never feel that I know what I'm digging with any of these types of machines. My first machine was the CZ-70. I've tried these other machines since I know there are masking and iron issues with CZ's but...to each is own. With my limited hunting time, it's so nice to hunt with a machine that's straightforward and a pleasure to swing...the proof is in the pics...(all CZ-70 finds with many more)...HH

I've said it many times...I'll never get rid of mine.

That thing could actually APPRECIATE in value, at least in the short term. Not enough to warrant selling it though!

Nice finds !!
Can't wait to get out on those beaches again, think I will have to get a CZ70 Pro as well as my CZ3D.

:pulltab:

If you didn't already own a CZ70 would really call you crazy for putting it away, but appears just about last chance to buy a new CZ...
One wonders why the CZ line was discontinued, but we know you will now have a backup CZ and if one can afford it way to go..Remember they made so many CZ over the years many used ones also available...
