California Beach/Water detecting?

Sand Scoop

New member
Tonight I watch a TV show "Lifeguard" That takes place on the southern beaches of California. Even tho I'm fortunate to live in Myrtle Beach and hunt the beaches here I can't remember reading any posts of anyone that hunts these shores. The beaches were packed with people so I would expect there would be some good stuff laying out there.I don't think you could do water hunting with looking 20 ft hitting the beach.

There are tons of socal beach hunters, it's rare for me to go to the beach and not run into one or two other detectorists. If conditions are right for targets to be popping up, you will sometimes see 20+ out there.
