In regard to the large Cache find. This is why, when I hunt on private owned land, with owners permission. I have a small contract, on any finds I capture of signifcant value, there is a percentage of the value, I get, for the find.
For instance, when I am asked to look for lost jewelery on a persons property, I let them know I expect some financial reward only if I find it.
