I saw a collection of original, un-dug, Confederate buttons the other day. I'm going to attempt to remember the types.. I know that there was a fantastic Mississippi "I" button, a script "I", a manuscript "I", a block "A", a regular block "I", and six VMI Cadet Civil war buttons. I'm pretty sure there was a Virginia General Staff button, also(along with a couple other Confederate buttons_. There were at least 12 un-dug buttons in the batch. These were all original, and beautifully guilded. An old man purchased them about 40 years ago at an auction. They were in a box lot for 3.00.

They cost 3.00 40 years ago. They were real. They were recently sold, although not to me(I missed the boat).
