Well here in Montana it has been frozen for quite a while and I have been making due looking at all of the great posts from all of you. It warmed up a bit today and I had a little window of time to get out and do a little swinging. I went to a local park that I have been to many times before and many of the targets that I found were still deep in the frozen dirt and unreachable. As I was getting ready to leave I decided to search under a few trees near the parking lot. I got a signal that was jumping between a penny and a sketchy nickle. It pinpointed kinda funny and when I dug it I saw a mans copper braided bracelet. It didn't look like anything special just a copper bracelet. When I got it home I put a buffing wheel on my Dremel tool to buff it up a bit. This didn't do too much, so I added a little buffing compound and it started shining. I soon saw that not all of the strands of the braid were the same, two were copper, one silver and one was GOLD!!! Whoo hoo!! My first gold for the year. As soon as I got home, the snow started dumping like crazy so it will be a while till I get out again. Glad I did it while I could.
