Cabin fever...ALREADY:rage:

I can't believe it. I was hoping for a couple more decent weeks, but I guess I'll have to live vicariously through the pictures and stories posted by the fine members on this site. I went out for a quick hunt three days ago, and the weather was good, the grass was still green. Today however, they're calling for 15 centimetres of snow and 75 km/hr winds. Sheesh...a blizzard already? I feel sorry for the kids that will have to try to wear snowsuits under their Halloween costumes. Anyway, I guess I'll have until at least April to do research on hunting sites and maybe save some $$ to get another detector to use with my 550.

Anybody else get this crazy weather yet? I'm jealous of you folks in warmer climates...happy hunting!

:usaflag:Duluth got 4 inches last night. 100 miles north we are at 39 degrees and rainy. It's supposed to perk up by the weekend a little. I have one more spot I want to try before I hang it up for the year.

34 degrees and blowing snow right now. However the weekend is supposed to be nice weather and we are still planning for a metal detecting trip.

Keep that white stuff out there. I'm in the middle of the mitten in Michigan and don't want to see that.

Really sorry abou that weather Johnny. I know how much you love detecting. I just can't imagine living in climate like that, detecting or no detecting. We'll keep you posted on our finds. But now that I think of it, those of us in the warmer climates probably need that extra 3 months of detecting just to keep on on some of those finds of your's.

Yeah it's been raining here for days and more coming. Somewhere in the mix we are supposed to have somesun so maybe I can finish up testing this 350. That'swhat I hate about getting these test units in the fall and winter.

Tomorrow is supposed to be +7celcius...I'm going to make my wife think I'm TOTALLY nuts and go detecting in the snow after work!
