Sure is good to see the weather getting better. For all the new users that have been marked for life by reading the post just forget everything and go by the User's Manual. Never adjust any setting other than set the Audio Gain to 10, Sensitivity to 28, Semi-auto OFF, and Iron Mask to -14, Deep and Fast ON and never never touch discrimination pattern or you will be called a pattern detector guy. Keep in mine that all that technology is so complicated that it is only there for a very few to even think of using. Follow these simple rules and you will find very deep and old coins each day you hunt and will soon have the areas you search hunted out and can go to a new hobby. And the best rule of all is never look at or use another detector or you will be branded for life as having used that other detector.
Last but not least never trust anyone with a college degree, an engineer, technician, or anyone that has every been in any position of authority. ALWAYS ask for help from someone that tells you "just use my setting and you will be OK or just go by the User's Manual and have someone read it for you.

Cody,
You said Deep and Fast ON. I never saw this in the Manual and no Minelab comments on that, except from others that it could be confusing for the machine. How do you use it?
