Cabella platinum

The Platinum was the first of a whole slew of products in the BH, Teknetics, and Fisher lineup that were based on it. It is still among the best values at its price, especially because it has phase-based ground balancing, probably the least expensive "real metal detector" on the market to offer that feature.

Unfortunately it's a bit of a sleeper in the market because it has distribution that's restricted due to contractual agreements. The last time I checked it wasn't even on the Bounty Hunter website.

I love mine. It goes deep. My detecting buddy runs a Garrett ATP, The Platinum will run with his on any day.
