Had a chance to use the Coinstrike one today. Certainly is impressive for such a small coil. Well it feels that way.
The first thing one would notice about it will be the ability to crank the sensitivity right up there. I was also able to run the threshold right on the edge of sound & silent. It has depth with this coil far beyond a lot of other detectors with larger coils. If nothing else impresses you, the depth should.
Of course depth would not be the reason to use this coil, but the rapid recovery of the C$, combined with the small size will make it a killer in trashy areas. There should not be too much of a problem ID'ing good targets next to bad. I received multi-tones with test garden of iron, trash, coins. It would take a good size chunk of iron to mask out a coin near by it.
We'll try to get a little more time in with it this week end, weather permitting.
Have a nice weekend.
