Can anyone tell me WHY there isnt a c.scope forum on here???? they are brilliant machine the 3MX runs at 17KHZ and it very very light. and very very deep.....anyone shed some light on this please........

I'm guessing it's because C.SCOPE isn't a sponsor of this web site. In other words, they do not pay the fee that the web site owner requires in order to get a specific forum here on the site. If they did, then they would have a banner ad near the top of one of the pages on the site. The opportunity to advertise is the reward for being a sponsor. It cost money to have a web site like this and the web site owner doesn't do it for free. To the best of my knowledge, C.SCOPE no longer has any dealers here in the United States, and that is probably a good reason as to why they don't sponsor it.

Why no C.Scope forum? My guess is there is not enough C.Scope users to keep a separate forum active. Although a sponsor would go a long way towards starting a new forum, it is not a requirement, many forums here do not have sponsors. If enough C.Scope users showed interest and dropped a note to Admin, it might be considered.

Hi Topo i own a cs3mx amongst many others and i think it's a good machine.It is quick,sensitive to small finds and has fairly good depth.It is also light,although a little nose heavy in my opinion....but this does not make much difference to how long you can swing it without getting tired.The discrim is quite good, but unfortunately solid chunks of iron break through as a good signal unless you turn the discrim into the higher end of the scale.The problem here is that you now loose sensitivity to the smaller coins etc that are hidden between the iron,especially on roman sites etc.If you are the sort of detectorist who can use minimum discrim and put up with digging a little iron,the 3mx will pick out those small low conductivity coins from amongst the iron trash as well as anything on the market....you just have to work a little harder for the rewards.Nice one c-scope.
sounds very nice. Today if I would initiate on the hobby I would pick the 3mx as my first machine, I currently use a MXT (my second detector), a "very hot" machine for gold jewelry, but sometimes I would like to have a backup as the 3mx, reliable and more portable machine (just a module that you can spring in and out and no worries about LCDs)

i've been looking at them for quite some time and i was thinking because of the frequency they run would be a way of getting a 17khz machine simalar to a poor mans version of a tesoro tejon, if i did buy one new does any body know what the import tax would be or duty tax? right now today to buy there about $400.00 after shipping?
