C$ pullab notch......

Can someone tell me what the number range that's supposed to be canceled using the TAB notch on a C$?? I had an older round tab sneak in & was just wondering...
thanks, Bill

I don't remember for sure Bill, but I think its like 14-17 on the tab notch. Round tabs vary a lot in ID depending on whether the tail is attached or not and if its folded in under the ring or out straight.

so I suppose if I keep having those # tabs slipping in at a newer site, one could utilize the Nickel notch to cancel those....

You just might go and notch out the "Souper, Ultra, Mega-Rare GOLD TOOTH. (I know they find 'em all the time in Texas)

Glad I don't live near you, I like those numbers!

But I have run across a few. One thing I noticed on the C$ is the really deep pull tabs with tails on can read up in the zinc range at times, but they were down like 12" or more.

the tabs which are Gold anodized tend to ring higher. And at times on a CZ I hit a tab that rings as a high coin and appears to be shinier and heavier than the standard fair. Now I'n not going to say I find a lot of tabs, but wading for gold, well you know.......anyway I take these tabs and bounce them up and down in the palm of my hand and they seem heavier. I have never weighed one to be sure, but I am a pretty good judge of weights, distance, and women of Dutch background.:spin:

to be a judge of those Dutch women. There's an old saying around here... Hotter than Dutch Love! :spin:

Made a batch of Scrapple the other night. Maybe the scent will lure in a hot Dutch woman for me.
