C$ on the beach in wet salt &black sand.

Just go a C$ last Friday, so far have sucked up around 8$ in clad. Will be going to the beach for a week soon and will take it along with my Sov. XS and Spectrum.

How well does the C$ do in wet salt sand? Black sand? Dry sand I know it will be fine.

thanks,
scott

I have pretty much stayed in dry sand with the C$ on our Carolina beaches. Black sand is really not much of a problem on those beaches either. My C$ will false on me in the wet stuff sometimes. But I was able to hunt all the way to the water's edge on the FL beaches (Cocoa and Sebastian) Go figure. I'm interested in hearing your report. Be sure to dig FOIL and PULLTABS! I have dug gold rings that hit as low as a 5 or 6 on the C$ id. I dig a lot of trash, but I get my share of gold too. Thanks for posting and GOOD LUCK!

just remember when you hit the wet beach, go to salt mode. Also make sure and Ground balance in the wet sand if it starts falsing on you, just lower sensitivity and threshold.

Now, It's best to run without a coil cover if your around black sand beaches, the black sand will get trapped between the coil & cover and give the C$ a fit. I have had to lower sensitivity to 2 on the C$ at times around black sand and was still diggin targets 4-6" deep.
