Can anyone give me some basic settings I can put in to start with,I just got it today and took it out for a swing,I ran in FP most of the time, changed some stuff, went back to FP.I found some deep iron and a brass plate about one inch by three inch by eight,it was down about sixteen inches.I would just like some setting so I have a starting point,if I can save the settings and switch to each one before I dig, this might help me on the learning of C$.I do know I like this better then the Explorer II.
Thank you
Tom Spencer

iron at 99, volumn max out and adjust with headphone controls if equipped. Notch in zinc & nickels if you wish and notch out everything else. This should get you started.
By the way, learn the machine with averaging off as well and ground tracking until you become more familiar with the machine.
Good luck,
Mike

as a setting in many states with threshold @ 00. I can't run that here in New England. I think 525 should have been the preset <img src="/metal/html/biggrin.gif" border=0 width=15 height=15 alt=":D"> Anyhow, learn your C$ with negative threshold. Sure, start at -40 & take it to a ballfield. Find some clad just to see how coins "lock" soild numberwise from all angles. Sweep all signals from different angles & you should see iron go negative. After several hours then you can creep up with the treshold for top depth...good luck, Bill

Hey Bugar, Did I see where you had your Coinstrike up for sale. I just saw that you were selling your
10.5 Coil for the Coinstrike. I was just wondering why. HH, NamVetLesTreasureSeeker
