It's been a week of watching and waiting to see if we're going to get hit by this hurricane. A frontal system coming off the eastern seaboard caused Bertha to stall 200 miles off the shores of Bermuda and managed to weaken her. By the time Bertha hits tonight she 'should' be no more than a strong tropical storm. That's fine with me as we desperately need the rain and the waves will really stir things up at Horseshoe Bay and all of the South Shore Beaches so it should mean some very good hunting.
Everything is battened down and I'm as ready as I can be, now I just wish that it would hurry up and get here as I'm tired of waiting. Those two small dots just to the NW of the eye are Bermuda.
Cheers,
BDA
