buying T2 today "Gulp"

You did and you will love it once you start working with it.

You made a good decision. There is always the personal preferences variable, but the machine itself is a keeper. Be careful of the people that will tell you it is awful and then try to buy it from you cheap. Hint, they are not trying to do you a favor.

you will love it.. take the time to learn what it is telling you. Do not get aggravated at all the target signals it will hit. You'll hear targets you never heard with other machines. Super fast recovery and hit machine.

this info ALSO applies to the equally good f-75!..be careful!..,as there are many who will try to "steal"
it from you!..just sayin!.

(h.h.!)

thanks again tndiggin

Congratulations on buying the T2! I've had mine for 1 1/2 years and am very happy with it. Using a T2, however, does have some drawbacks...

First, if you are hunting with others, they will constantly be asking you to verify their targets before they dig, as the T2 will not lie to you about depth, ID or pinpointing, as their detectors will.
Second, when hunting in parks and continually picking up quarters and dimes, kids will swarm you. I like kids and showing them what I am doing has excited many to want to get into the hobby.
Finally, you will be spending many evenings rolling up your quarters, dimes, nickels and pennies instead of watching TV.

Hints: Hunts schoolyards in early Spring and the parks at the end of Summer.

HAVE FUN
