Buying new

When buying a new detector, does it come with the upgrade? If so, how can you tell that the one you are buying is the newest version? Thanks

When you get the detector go to Minelabs website as if you are doing the software update and it will tell you once you start the update which software the detector is running before it updates.

Robert i believe will if you have the old update..... if it doesnt you are using the NEW program and i believe it will say your machine is up to date. If you want to use the old program or try it you have to look at the bottom of the screen....... there are 3 dots (hamber they call it) and press that to get both programs to come up.

I'm hearing the machines bought over the last few weeks have already been updated but the one I got directly from Minelab in late October was not update.
