I just wanted to say Hi to all.I'm new to water hunting and the Excalibur.I have land hunted for several years, wanted to try something different.I will be hunting lakes and ponds no ocean in Illinois.I have read your forum over and over but I'm sure I will have questions !!!

For right now.......
Read the book, maintain the battery pack the way you are supposed to, and have fun.

It works about like a Sov, but has fewer knobs and switches. Otherwise, about anything that can be said about either machine will apply to both.

When you use your Excalibur dont hip mount it you can easily cause dammage by straining the lead connections and seals causing water leaks into the control box. Buy yourself a Bill Babbs Straight balanced shaft and you will find you will have a machine which is a breeze to use in or out of the water. and have no worries about possible water leaks. good luck hope you find plenty seeya Neilo:thumbup:
