Buying a CZ-70

Well after weeks of agonizing detector research I have finally decided to go the route of a CZ-70. I'll be getting a good unit for Oledawg (Aka. Fred), so I should be out with it in a couple weeks. Any tips, advice etc would be appreciated as this is my first Fisher. I've been a Minelab and Whites user mostly until now.

I'll be mostly coinshooting both old and modern sites so the 70 seemed the route to go.

Does anyone know how the 70 handles California soil? What kind od depth it expect? I live about 1 1/2hrs away from Fisher labs so I would assume it handles my native soil well.

Best advice is to go to Mike's CZ page..http://mikewd.fws1.com/
It ofers a lot of good info for any CZ user...Actually a user friendly
deep seeker, but some have trouble with the bobbing ground balance so use the pushbutton ground balance and move onto the bobbing method with practice...Good luck with your new unit...
