I don't know if these are old or not. All found separately in old NV mining areas. Are there any websites that ID buttons and/or buckles?
Thanks Dave

The button on the left is a U.S. Army "Great Seal" general service uniform button. The design was authorized in 1902 and has been in use ever since. I'm not sure about the Liebmann backmark, but believe that it's from WWI.
The other eagle button is a mid to late 19th century-- i.e., Civil War and Indian Wars-- U.S. Army general service button. Scovill was a major mfgr. of the period.
Sorry, no info on the Levi Straus Co. jeans &/or work clothes button.

One or both of these might help ya, Dave:

I found a Scovill Mfg Co, Waterbury button myself. That's why and how I went looking myself. <img src="/metal/html/biggrin.gif" border=0 width=15 height=15 alt=":D">
