Any information on the items besides the round balls would be appreciated. It is difficult to make out but it appears to read 'SOLIBE CO'? on the back of the buckle. Any ideas on the button or the other thing?

Thanks in advance.

The brass buckle is a civil-war era suspenders-strap adjuster buckle. I think your "SOLIBE CO"-marked one was manufactured in France.

The item above your button appears to be a strap adjuster. Found on sword belt rigs and some rifle slings. Your button is unknown to me. Although the front resembles a 3 piece button, the back is unlike any I've seen and could be something other than a button. Try contacting Warren Tice, Bob Edmondson or North/South Trader magazine. Interesting finds. David @ Dixie
