Would like some help in ID'ing this button I found at Camp McClellan in Davenport Iowa. Camp McClellan was used as a training camp for CW Soldiers from the MidWest. The front is in very good shape but the back mark is fried and not sure if it had any writing on it. Would like to know if it could be from the CW era.
Any info. would be appreciated.
Thanks
Chuck

It looks like a general service civil war button to me.
