Hey Y'all,
I am new to the site but not new to relic hunting. If you don't get too bored I will post some finds in later threads but would like to get a little help IDing a button now.
I found it here in south Georgia. I don't think it is civil war period. The backmark is Horstmann Bros & Co. Phila. The wing shape is throwing me. All the buttons I have seen have the wing tips pointing up, straight out or almost straight down.
As you can see, these tips angle down. I appreciate any help and look forward to participating in these forums.
