Tony of Tidewater came across this button while hunting some Civil War sites around the Blackwater River in Suffolk, Va. I haven's seen one like this before. Could I get a ID on this. The pic didn't come out to hot..lol. Maybe next time.
Thanks!

It looks like a variation of a NC Sunburst without the NC. It was in the next field to where Buddy dug that sweet NC Sunburst 2 weeks ago. I'll try to get a better pic of it.....

Hey Shark, hope all's well. We hit the peanut field across the street for a while. Tony dug a nice German coin with a Nazi cross on the back, a merc dime, and a wheatie. I found 1 1918 Merc dime, and a bee hive..lol. No swarm or stings while back peddling! I wound up poking around those two smaller fields with no results. We talked with the farmer's family for a little bit (nice folks). The Ol' timer told us there use to be rifle pits across the street in the neighbors fields! They were knocked down and filled in back when they expanded the field many years ago. Soooo game on!!! I think the field still needs to be harvested. All we need to do is get up with the neighbor. Hell of a way start the season!

They were both found in the same area
