Button ID... Can't find it anywhere

Has anyone seen a button like this one I found today? It appears to be a six petaled flower... It was found in New York near a 1770's farm house. I looked through the books and online and have found barely anything close. The back has no writing that is readable and the shank appears to be soldered on.
Thanks All!

Your probably not going to get an id on who, when or where...i have a hundred buttons with no way of knowing that info unless a good shank on back then using charts online to determine possible age...alot of them were locally made utilitarian buttons..meaning just made to serve purpose a button is meant for.
