Button and Indian!

Bell-Two

Active member
We got out Thursday for a short hunt, weather was nice, went to a field that we have had good luck at in the past and found that it had been turned. A bit tricky walking I found a button but we decided to move on and wait until some rain comes to wash down the ruts a bit. We went to the field where I got the three Large Cents the other day and I got a nice 1865 Indian Head and a fancy but smushed suspender buckle and a nice little gilt button.

That's some nice Indian Bell-Two. It must have been dropped shortly after being minted. Great date too, congrats!

Wow! Nice Indian!
The buttons are great finds too but an 1865 out of the ground in that condition is rare.
Good job.

Terrific finds, wish I could find an area that produced finds like this one is.
