butterfly coil

I use a DFX and would like to know if anyone uses the 10x12 butterfly coil and what there take on it is i am also considering a 10'dd or the super 12' thanks kent
 
I used the 10X12 SEF on my DFX and now, the Vision and I really like it.
 
It is a bit heavier and the balance difference is noticeable, but .... it does seem to get a little better coverage (front-to-rear) and, if tuned right, conditions aren't too trashy, and you listen, it cane give me a little better depth.

It's a very good coil. :thumbup:

Larry - did I see on another one of your posts that you couldn't use the TX feature when using the 10X12" SEF coil? How does the SEF coil compare to the stock coil that comes with the Vision?

I am about to trade in my MXT 300 for the Vision but I'm going to keep the SEF coil that I purchased and use it with the Vision.
