But where are the stories

O.K guys and gals, those were some good answers but no stories. I was kind of expecting some awesome faith building stories. I came to the Lord about five years ago and I keep asking the Lord the same question, "why did you pick me of all people, when there are so many more deserving people in the world," but I never get an answer! Instead, what I get is this drive and wanting to reach others. Knowing that time is very short and for some, it is even shorter. Our job as believers is to share the Gospel. We are like metal detectors our selfs, scanning the ground for lost treasure or better yet, lost souls. And instead of using discrimination, we use discernment but not to much discerment, for we might miss the target. So the next time you are out detecting and see a crowd of rowdy teens or a elderly woman on a park bench, set yourself to Gopel and share! share! share! God will clean them up. Thankyou and God Bless, morningstar.

WHEN THE LORD CAME TO HIS OWN, HE WAS REJECTED BY THEM, AND THEY EVEN SAID... LET OUR CHILDREN BE CURSED... THAT'S WHY HE PICKED YOU, ME, AND ANYONE ELSE THAT IS WILL LISTEN TO HIS WORD, BECAUSE FROM HEARING COMES THE WORD OF GOD... THE DAY YOU HEARD THE WORD OF GOD AND ACCEPTED IT IN YOUR HEART, GOD CHOSE YOU, AND HE CHOSE YOU FROM BEFORE THE FOUNDATIONS OF TIME... ISN'T THE LORD GREAT!!!! :clapping:

When I went to pay my bill there was a young woman standing at the office window. She was dressed inappropriately and I thought "Lady you ought to be wearing a "for sale sign" dressed like that. She walked away and came right back. I steeped aside thinking she needed to do more business with the office manager. She was just asking anyone and everyone if they would give her a ride. The LORD led me to volunteer as I was thinking "no appearance of evil". She was also very pretty. As we were leaving she was using vulgarities against her brother who was supposed to pick her up. I've learned that the unsaved act just like that, unsaved. She was under the influence of alcohol or drugs. So I didn't know how much would get through to her. The Holy Spirit led me along anyway. At one point she asked me why I was doing this? The answer was "God led mne to do this". She asked also at one point if she was going to die? She was asking as if it would be soon. I told her I don't know, just that if you die without Christ you go to Hell. I also let her that it wasn't for browie points witrh God that I was doing this. I was to present and the rest was between her and Jesus. She never accepted while riding in the car. My hearing is almost gone in my right ear so I can't honestly tell you her name but God knows. I'm a sinner saved by Grace, through the sacrifice of Jesus on the cross. I earnestly and honestly would like the same for her, Osama Bin Laden and all others outside the family of God. Steve in So Az volunteers at mission there in So Az. Maybe he can bring some joy to our hearts as the angels have already rejoiced.

come unto Him, at His Spiritual calling them and humble themselves before Him, He will save and use when willing to be used for the glory of God our Father by believing in Jesus, and loving, honoring and obeying Him, for if we love Jesus we will obey Him!

May you be ready to speak the Gospel as the Holy Spirit tells you what to say. I witness through my poetry, my writings and other ways than just telling people in person about my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ! God will open up the opportunity for you to witness to someone as His Holy Spirit leads and the timing and words will be just right for that person to hear, whether a sinner or not!

May the Lord bless you mightily and use you for your and others good and for His purpose!

God Bless!
Betty

We always need to be sharing the Lord with others. And if it is hard for some they should live so that others see God in them.

Hello paul, great story. When I first came to the Lord, I was working on a home in San Franciso and approached by a women who was dressed nice and feeling feeling the after affects of some drug. At first she approached me with confidence. Then when I told her about the Lord, she started to brake down. I could'nt remember the Lords repentence pray so I called a friend named Deena. Deena and the women prayed and the women asked the Lord into her heart. I gave her my bible and what ever food I had and went back to work. As I entered the house to begin work I suddenly began to realize that I had not done enough. The thoughts were so strong that I could'nt work, so I started to pack up my tools. But all of a sudden, while putting my tools away, a feeling, out of my control, of comfort came over me and I felt at peace that all was going to be alright. So I broke out the old tools and finished the job.
