...but its still a large cent: todays cibola finds

GRAY GHOST

New member
hello everyone, i bought a new tesoro cibola this morning after asking advice from some rather well known gentlemen on this forum. based almost solely upon the strength of their opinions and my respect for them all, i must say that im very happy with the new purchase! i took the cibola out to the battlefield ive been hunting a while, wasnt there a hot 30 minutes, and out of the ground pops an 1819 [?!!! hard to make out a date] large cent almost a foot deep! yowza! i thought, too bad i dont have too much time to hunt! a short time later came a 52 cal 2 ringer sharps and several buck and balls[the small shot combined with 69 cal balls the confederates used.] i have this feeling that the cibola and myself are good friends already. i would like to thank the aforementioned gentlemen for their good advice, they know who they are, and if you ever get a chance to do business with sgt. rikers civil war shop in ashland,va. do it, for he is a good and honorable man to deal with. you wouldnt believe some of the stuff hes got...thanks, and hh,
