Busy Night In The Surf Lane...And a Golden One Too!

Darren and I Hit the lane from midnight to 4 AM for the 2:15 low tide. We only saw two other hunters...Tony and David...gold tickets for all four hunters, so I would say "It's on, baby!"

I also saw something tonight that, if real, may be the find of the summer. Time will tell on both counts as well as if the find will ever see the light of day...not my call. And that's ALL I'm sayin' about that!

Here is my meager nut...a diamond (small as they are) ring, silver toe ring, somebody's car keys (2nd set in two nights) and a little pile of clad.

Guess it's 14K... up here, getting a karat higher than 10 is a real treat! But i mustn't complain, in GB there is a lot of 9k trash !

It actually fits my left ring finger perfectly. I'm sitting here right now like a white version of Mr. T. Got my 18K 26" gold chain and eagle/anchor pendant from last summer around my neck. I've got my Relic Watch from 3 summers ago on. The new ring from last night fits my left ring finger but not my right, so I moved the 9-diamond channel ring from two summers ago (pictured below) that I liked so well I retired my wedding band with (with the wife's permission) to the right ring finger and the turtle is next to that on my pinky. Now all I need is to find myself a nice belly ring and I'll be all set.

I've been wearing this one for two years now...definitely one of my favorite finds!

I'm sure there will be many more nice finds this summer for all. My hope is to hit a NICE diamond ring, something in the neighborhood of a carat. I guarantee there will be at least a couple lost out there before it's over. Got MY fingers crossed!
