In the big lake today, returned to look for a men's wedding band that was dropped a couple days ago. Apparently there was a big blow last night, because all the trash cans and porta jons in the area were tipped over. No luck finding the ring, with all the wave action and overnight sand movement, it probably sunk outa range. Hardly any targets at this particular spot.
Hit another place on the way back, fought some surge, rips and waves, but landed on a unique spot. Dug 4 coins within the first minute of stepping in the water. Dimes, pennies, then quarter after quarter, went a little deeper yet and started to find some nickels. Was probably the most coins I've found in a matter of a couple hours, while getting tossed around pretty good too.
Stainless bracelet, junk earing, junk toe ring?, trinket bead necklace...
and 5.0 grams of 14kt goodness! ....not alot, but we'll take it!
