Not attending church today. We actually have been tossing around the idea of looking for another church. Many of you have been down this road before. I know no matter where you go to church, each one has it's problems. We have been going to this one for over 20 years, and it is hard to just pull up roots and move on! If we do this I want it to be a God thing, not an us thing!
Please pray about this for my family.

Thanks!

stop going it will get harder and harder to go back to that church or any other! So think about whether you want to quit that one, because they all have their problems, with satan there, also. Unless the Word of God is not being preached like it should...you need to think twice...before changing! You have your friends and loved ones there!

I know of what I speak, as I've not been in church for a long time since not going to the one in IL. The pastor and his wife have retired, but I wasn't going before they did! Not because of them but for circumstances of having to drive that far and at night and not feeling well. As the old song goes, Excuses, Excuses, Excuses. We can always find an excuse to keep us away for God's House....but I also know Jesus lives within me and I have Him with me all the time, as long as I don't sin willfully and disobey Him! God won't dwell in an unclean temple and our body is the temple of God when we accept Jesus as our own personal Savior!

Keep the children in church unless there is too much evil going on in it!! They need Jesus now more than ever!

I hope this helps and my prayers are for you to pray, hear God and listen to what He says. He will lead you on the right path with the right decision!

God Bless!
Betty

for the time being we have settled in on for Casey to make friends in the local area. Am not enthused with the way the church does things and haven't had a communion service or talk of one in the past month we have been coming. There are other things but for now Casey needs Christian friends - and she has been asked to be a part of the music ministry for the worship services. She needs the bonding with good kids and there are a fair group of them in this church.

Will pray your family finds the church God wants your family to be in.
It is out there.
