Was MDing at the county park today, was trying out my new DX1 that i finely got.I was going around a large fir tree when i got an overload signal.I determined that the target was of good size,so i started digging. At about 8-10" i hit a piece of metal,it had a red color to it.When i tapped on it, it sounded like it was not solid.I went over to the care taker and got permission to dig. When i uncovered the top it was a small metal barrel standing on end with the top on it.:surprised:Right off i thought Cache! Guess it wasn't my day,it was empty. It did have a bottom in it and it was overgrown with tree roots, this barrel had been there for awhile.Maybe next time.

WOW, that's so cool. Sorry there wasn't a cache in it, but it's an awesome find and great communication with the groundskeeper, Thanks Jog
