bulls eye pin pointer 2

My bulls eye pin pointer died after a years use, the batt, probes were weak had trouble with batt not making contact, and that was after the second battery,
a month ago the steal inside of the prob came loose and started rattling, the battery prob finally broke, I can fix it but will change the batt contacts to
a different style, I used to x cross my targets to find them but was spoiled with the probe, I remembered someone on this forum or anther can't
remember talking about harbor fraight having one for around 20 dollars I was hunting near one so I stopped in and bought one, it came with carrier
that hangs on your belt, I liked the way the batt plugged in, it works great, the bulls eye fits your hand a little better, this one is a half inch wider
but works much the same, the signal goes a little deeper, I am buying another for a back up, thought I would pass this on,

White's will likely replace the Bullseye too, give service a call.

Hi 1230, I to have the Whites pinpointer 2. I had the first pin pointer that Whites had, had i bout 3 or 4 years and the back came off. I sent it to Whites they fixed it and put a new boot on the switch with no charge. Can,t say enough about Whites. I know others do very good service, but Whites dose more than you ask for. The HF pinpointer is a good pointer, i have two for backup and to lone.

I have not had my mxt long enough to have any problems but it sure is nice to see what great service whites has after the sale. Definitely glad I bought a whites. Now if I could just find something. Bones

when i bought my MXT PRO it came with the bulls eye pointer i had to send it back because it was not working, i bought from kellyco. they replace with no problem, and i also got a HF METAL DETECTOR. looks like it will work just fine, came with the holster. and they cost around 17.00 dollars. not including shipping/handling. well ill have both the bulls eye and the HF metal detector....

I will have to check into getting it fixed, I know they are exultant on there detectors, as far as service, it wont hurt to have a few, thanks for the info,

I had troubles with both bulleye models.Real cheap switchs-I replaced the switch myself and wired in a 9Volt battery clip.Works fine ever since.
Bulleye 2 will pick up very tiny gold nuggets.Very tiny targets thats why I keep fixing it-I know the garret one is not as sensative to small gold.

I hope whites service is good as everyone says.I had sent a machine there years ago and they did a horrible job on the soilder connection to the new coil plug they installed on my eagle spectrum.
It took 6 weeks and I ended up fixing it myself in the end.I really hope this does not happen again with my MXT.Had delt with garrett before with much better results-faster and cheaper, but we will see what happens this time.
