I posted this on the ETRAC forum but wanted to post here also. Found a dropped .69, 3 shot .69's, one small ball with the sprue still attached, and a larger round ball. Had a great time and it is always fun to find these bullets!!! Anybody know what the .69 is? It has 2 rings and a shallow concave base. Thanks for looking.
 
It appears to be a Confederate Gardner minie. If it's a .69 caliber then you have a fairly scarce bullet. Congrats.

I just looked up that bullet RelicDigger and you are correct. It has the shallow insert base. Definitely my best bullet to date!! Thanks for your post and help!!
 
Nice gardners! Check that area close you might just find a nice conf. button or some other dropped item! :thumbup:
