bullet ID please

Picked this bullet up in an area used by CW troops. Description
3 rings. A little less than 1/2 in from base to top ring (top crushed by impact).
5/16th dia. Probably common but the first ringed bullet I've found. HH Donnwf
 
the picture is a little blurry but looks like a in line muzzle loader sabot round, modern day could be wrong but the photo is blurry
 
I can't get it any better with my camera skills. Thanks for giving it a shot, so to speak. You guys on relic forum show some great stuff. I'm inspired and I'm lookin. HH Don
