Found this bullet today about 100 feet from where I had found a two ringer earlier this year. Has the right patina for Civil War Era! This one is bigger around than my two 52 caliber ringtails that I found at another site, haven't had time yet to look this one up. Thought I'd post it on here, maybe someone can tell me before I can find it! LOL. Was a good day today, besides this bullet, I found a 1900 Indian Head and a 1930 D wheatie and a 10k gold ring that turned out to be 1/20 10k Gold Filled, OH WELL. It was fun anyway.

Nice find. It's a fired Williams type three cleaner bullet. Mid to late war. HH

WOW! That was fast! I knew someone would know this! Thanks Digger70pa!

No problem buddy. I haven't found many of those bullets. I hunt early to mid war spots. I have to go south for them. There might be some more of those around where you found that one. Good luck and happy hunting.

Good CW find

I believe that it may be a Williams cleaner bullet...type III
