We had some nice high tides and strong South winds for the past few days so I knew that conditions at Horseshoe Bay on the Southshore would be good for hunting today when the winds swung around to the North. Imagine my disappointment when I got to Horseshoe Bay 2 hrs. before low tide to find that the Parks Dept. had been busily at work today pushing all the top sand that had piled up back into the water to make a nicer looking beach. After an hour of quiet running except for bottle caps and pulltabs, plus a single quarter I gave up in disgust. It will be weeks before the surf is decent to hunt again at Horseshoe Bay.:ranting::rage::rant:
Hopefully I can get out in Plumbago again as soon as the winds quiet down and the small craft warnings end.

BDA:cool:

PS Sorry no pics as the Princess borrowed the camera today.

Had a pretty lack-lustre week-end myself. Didn't even make gas money.

Maybe next time. Just gotta put the coil over the goodies.

Hey! It COULD be worse. You could be in MICHIGAN!
