Hey Mike, Can you give some details on how you buffed up your FISHER Detector Housings? Some of us less talented dummies want know! Did you use a Dremmel Tool or something else? Many Thanks, HH, NamVetLesTreasureSeeker

ya know the car stuff? Makes 'em shine like new

Works good, i usually got one o those dispenser things where ya pull the wiper out, like a wet wipe, for the dashboard of the car or truck, look kinda like the things ya wipe a kids poopy bottom with, armor all makes em for cars

I then wet the buffing wheel with water then rub some jewelers rouge on the buffing wheel. I then buffed the sides of the CZ70 with the buffing wheel at a moderate speed. To fast at it could melt the case, so use either low or moderate speed. Once you finish buffing the case, then use armoral or son of a gun and clean it up. It will take out most all the scratched unless their pretty deep then your stuck with those.
You can usually buy the small container of buffing compound or jewelers rouge at most stores that sell rotary tools will have the buffing compound.

MANY THANKS, Mike/Bill/Bugar. I really appreciate you taking the time to respond! I'm going to give it a try. HH, NamVetLesTreasureSeeker
